OFFICIAL LAUNCH GALLERY

The Seaham Mining Heritage Project was officially launched on  18th May 2004 in the presence of
children from Parkside Infant School and specially invited guests.

Lighting the Lamp:  Children helped Miner Tom to light the 
miners lamp.  This act officially launched the Seaham Mining 
Heritage project		 Special Guests, Stephen Hughes MEP, Dr Keith Bartlett, 
Dave Guy, Miners Lodge officials, Ron Meir, Alan Johnson, 
Malcolm Smith & Bill Pinkney, Head Teacher,Mrs Harwood, 
Dr Eddie Mason, Miner Tom and a pupil.
