Our Simple Goal.

Seaham Neighbourhood Football was established in 1977, the year of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee.

We are an independent voluntary organisation providing organised football for any boy or girl in the Seaham area who wishes to play. The age range of players is from about 7 to 11 years old. Each team must have its own manager. Originally, teams were provided with a football and a team strip. Nowadays, they provide most of the equipment themselves and often have their own launderer ( poor old mum) and their own sponsor. The organisation of the football programme and everything associated with it, is the responsibility of a Management Committee. It is our proud boast that over the course of the past 19 years there is scarcely any family in Seaham which has not had a member participating in Neighbourhood Football.

Over the coming months we hope to bring you:

A "potted" history of Seaham Neighbourhood Football

Reflections of some of the first Neighbourhood Footballers

Reflections of some of the first Management Committee and Managers
