School Aims
About Our School Unable to display imageParkside Infants School is a co-educational infants school for boys and girls of all abilities and from 3 - 7 years of age.
The school has a 26 place nursery unit, allowing 52 children to have a part-time placement. At present there are 92 children on roll in the Infant department and 52 in the nursery unit. We take 14 more children into school after Christmas.
Our classes are called the Robins, the Owls and the Eagles.
We would be interested to know what your classes are called.
Parkside Infants School is not affiliated to any particular religious denomination, although collective worship is ‘broadly Christian’.
The school is set in expansive grounds which are mainly laid out to grass and trees. A full sized football field is used by community teams after school and at the weekend.
Most of the children live in Parkside which was built after the Second World War.
Many parts of the estate are undergoing re-vitalisation at present.
Registration is at 9.00am and school closes at 3.15pm with a break for lunch at 12 noon.

They aim to develop in pupils lively, enquiring minds; to help them enjoy the acquisition of knowledge; and to promote the ability to question and argue rationally.....”
