The Grumpy Sheep

All the children will take part in a presentation of the Christmas Story in December called "The Grumpy Sheep". We would love to hear from other schools about their Christmas productions.
As well as the Christmas production the children will enjoy a theatre group. Kitchen staff at the school will cook a special Christmas dinner of turkey and Christmas pudding.

Anger.

My brother makes me angry because he messed my model. I went to my dad and my dad slapped my brother I felt like hitting him I should have told him to stop.

Creepy Crawlies Seen at the Quay.

The school vist to Hartlepool Historic Quay, which is about 18 miles from Seaham, generated some discussion recently.
Gemma Cartledge writes:
"I liked the bit where I was frightened. I saw a worm and I saw spiders. I saw insects and I saw a rat. I saw maggots and I saw a scorpion. The sailors found these creepy crawlies in their food."
Ed: Yeuk! Thanks for that vivid description Gemma.

Amy Tinkler and Terrie Hardy were at Hartlepool too. Amy writes:
"On Wednesday we went to Hartlepool Historic Quay. A man came with a pistol. He had gunpowder in a piece of paper. He put it in the pan. He put it in the muzzle. He pushed it down with a ramrod and put the paper in and shot the pistol."
Terrie didn,t like the bang. She writes:
"I liked the part when we went to Hartlepool. I liked the part when we went in the boat. We saw some boys and girls. I did NOT like the big bang."
