It is a hive of activity around Seaham Hall these days. The new owners, Seaham Hall Ltd, are busy restoring the place to something of it's former glory. The outside is clad in scaffolding but tantalisingly the restoration inside remains a mystery. It is, however, strongly rumoured that it will eventually be returned, in large measure, to something of its style at the time of Byron's marriage to Anne Isobella Milbanke on 2nd January,1815.
