The picture was taken about mid-way between the A19 Truk Road and the sea and gives a good feeling of the open vista which has been achieved. To the left of the picture is Dawdon's Green Drive Recreation Park, Dawdon Dene and the south-side of Seaham Golf Course.
To the right of the picture is open land towards Kinley Hill with Hawthorn beyond.
