The view looks eastwards towards the sea from the top of the new road from the A19 trunk road down towards the seafront and harbour. The new road has been proposed over many decades, now it is a reality and will help Seaham's economic regeneration. The road will also provide links into the newly designated Enterprise zones at the new Dawdon and Fox Cover commercial sites.
