FOREWORD

It is now 23 years since Seaham Neighbourhood Football was founded. Since that time there can scarcely be a single Seaham family which has not enjoyed an association with the organisation through the children who have played football and the parents and grandparents who have supported or managed them.

The purpose of this web site is to record, in this millenium year, the story of Seaham Neighbourhood Football, to remind everyone who has been involved about its origins and philosophy. Most importantly this record is intended to remind everyone who has contributed to Seaham Neighbourhood Football as players, Managers or Committee of the great times we have all had over the years and of the characters who made it all possible.

The site is not being presented as a "finished article". The intention is that we will develop it together. We will do the technical work and add our own contributions but we need you to help with information about:

teams, competitions winners and runners-up
players, managers & assistants, Committee Members, sponsors etc.
photographs with names and dates
your best Neighbourhood Football stories
Hall of Fame material about those who were worthy contributors but have moved on or sadly pass or have been successful in their football careers
