The Referees
The standard of refereeing during the Tournament was greatly enhanced by the services of the following qualified referees.
Malcolm Langley, Harry Anderson, Ian Bowman, Ken Younger and Alan Bowmaker.
The Ronnie Armstrong Trophy
The Trophy for which the seventeen teams in the Tournament have been competing is the "Ronnie Armstrong Trophy". Mr. Armstrong is well known in Seaham football circles and as well as donating the trophy has ,acted as Financial Organiser. It is, perhaps,particularly appropriate that children go young should be encouraged to play competitive football for a trophy donated by Mr. Armstrong who has been associated with the game for so many years.
The trophy will be presented to the winning team by Sunderland footballer Gary Rowell who is himself a Seaham lad.
