And furthermore, Nobby, you're clearly a half witted common little git and if I wasn't so high on the love of the good lord Jesus I'd come over there and tan your cotton picking hide. Yee Hah.............and praise the lord!

Nobby, Max the Crazy, Ex Seaham or whatever else you want to call yourself, I feel sorry for the person you assume this is. I can only guess that you were a bully in school and you are now trying to get your bullying frustrations out on this web site. Why don't you go to a chat room where people like you are a "dime a dozen." Since you OBVIOUSLY don't have a dictionary, a "dime" is one tenth of a dollar (a currency commonly used in the US).

This is for the one that is unsure as to what I mean by "civil". If you have a dictionary at your disposal, please review the word. It means - POLITE, PROPER, CIVILIZED OR BEFITTING A CITITZEN. Are we now clear on the difinition of "CIVIL"? Also I did not forget to identify myself, it was intenional and that is my right as an INDIVIDUAL!!!

Just putting your cliche-ridden narrative to one side for a moment, I for one am a little unsure as to what exactly you mean by "civil." Do you mean as in individual? In which case why are you allowed rights that you are apparently suggesting others should be denied? I can't say I agree with much of the comment here, but I will certainly defend the right of those making them. The trouble with firing a verbal shotgun is you are likely to claim hits on more than you intended. You demean your own comment by the way when you forget to identify yourself. Max The Crazy at least uses one of his many aliases. He may appear to be a nutter, but he's an ingenuous nutter!

I have been reading this website for the last two years (as I am myself an ex-seaham PERSON) I can't believe the ingnorance that exists in some parts of the world. Get it together, move on and get a life. I have not heard such stupid comments from people since I was a child. GROW UP!!!! Please leave this site open for civil human beings that want to stay in touch with "HOMELAND". Need I say more.

Who's this that's doing a poor impressionation of me? He gives himself away by his misspelling of the name of the divine one MADHEED. On the other hand it's true that I did visit England/Seaham/The Mill Inn in hope of meeting his MADHEEDness. Shocked was I to find no LCL, No Red Seats of Home and no MADHEED! The situation was made worse by the startled incomprehension of the bar staff who, under questioning, all hid in the cellar. The sign saying "No Drugs" WAS a disappointment. How did they manage to run out of stock during the holiday season? Seaham's not what it was! One small point - who nicked the off sales hatch? I fancied a bag of crisps!

Ex Seaham - if you feel so much disdain for Seaham and its residents then why do you visit this site so much? Is your life outside of Seaham so empty that you've nothing else to do, except surf, and put other people down in attempt to make yourself feel better? You may (or may not) have left Seaham, but have you seem to exhibit all the self loathing of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Instead of calling other Seahamites knobheads why don't you just get a life of your own? Go on, lead us by your example, oh sucessful one.

How can I meet you when you come to Seaham when I don't live there anymore and I don't have a valid visa in my passport for the land of knobheads. Anyway, I left school in 73 so we're a different generation. The boy Purdy was in the same year as me. Wonder if he remembers his wonderful performance in the sixth form concert. Who were the other people with him?

Nobby, Have you not realised that all the bright people left Seaham and as a result of the inbreeding between the thickies that got left behind the gene pool has regressed so that all the people born since 1970 are plain stupid? You only have to read their messages to see this.

Susan Seaton, treat your visit to Seaham like a visit to Bosnia or Beirut during the worst of their troubles. There is no best place to stay in Seaham. Stay in Durham City or take your caravan to Finchale Priory just outside Durham. If you can, hire a native guide to help you find the local must see sights ( err OK there are none once you've seen the Harbour ) and interpret the devilishy difficult local dialect. It's amazing how a seemingly random series of monosyllabic grunts can contain so much meaning. Go and see MADHEED and his chums supping their LCL at The Mill ( keep the motor running ) and make a quick getaway to a place that has more than 10% of the adult population in work.

Good day! I am planning to visit Seaham and the surrounding area this coming summer. My grandmother was apparently from Seaham Harbour, however I am having trouble finding any information from our family members who are still alive, who might remember anything. My grandmother was Martha Ann Cox - with a brother Harold. Her parents were I believe William and Julia Cox (ne: Julia Parsons or Parkins) If anyone has any info on this family past, please drop me a line at sseaton@rockyview.ab.ca I am planning the trip for my moms 60th birthday, and would also love some ideas about site seeing, places to visit etc... Any suggestions on lodging as well, I plan to tour England via caravan but would like to stay in the occational hotel. I look forward to hearing from anyone in the area or surrounding area who could give me a hand. Susan Seaton

Hopes for 2001:- The Bus Station is demolished and the cretin who allowed it to be built originally, is standing in it when it goes down. Easington District Council (does it really exist or are all those orange vehicles just a perk for the chosen few to collect their giros?) does something to keep St. Johns churchyard footpaths clear of vomit, dog crap and mindless graffiti, its disgusting, never mind for visitors, what about those of us who live and work AND PAY COUNCIL TAX. This also applies to the precinct, then again why not just flatten it and start from scratch, folks from Peterlee must think we are puddled when you see what they have for facilities. How about a team of security guards for Seaham Library so you actually feel safe using it after sunset!!!!! the lasses in there should be getting danger money. The banning of women wearing leggings and shell suits, WHY do these people think the bigger they are the tighter the leggings and more colourful should be? One of these offenders bent down infront of me in Herons and I lost 4 minutes of daylight before she stood up again. Anyway, thats my hopes for 2001, whats everyone else got to ssay, and please, next time you answer your mobile phone in Quick Save as you adjust the gusset on your skintight leggings whilst shouting at the top of your voice, please rest assured that those of us who dont reside in the gutter are thinking YOU SAD SAD LOSER!!!!!!!!

Quite some time since I visited the Guest Book and nice to see a lot of old names that I recognise, especially those of the teachers from the old SGTS, (unfortunately becoming the Seaham Comp in early 70's). I started SGTS in 1965 with contempories such as Alf Shields, Alan Guy, Trevor Lee, Steve Lindsay, Stewart Grieve, Eddie Curtis, Richard Hughes, Iany Bell, Ritchie Knox, Margaret Ritchie, Linda Legge,Ann Purcell, Joy Oliver, Dot Hampton, Naomi Readman and so forth and so on, I could continue all night, and thankfully, some of whom I still keep in touch with (Linda, I promise I'll e-mail you shortly!!). In those days, teachers really were scary and I well remember Johnny Redhead, David Garrett, Alan Westmorland, Dicky Goodliffe, Alan (Chain) Johnson, Ken Foulds, "Sinbad" Cummings and of course, the "Jeg" himself, David Martin, the headmaster (remember when he fell off the stage one morning at the start of assembly?). Then we get onto the really scary set, which for some reason were all female, Miss Ferguson, Miss Wake, Miss Robison (Nana),Miss Stokoe, all of whom could quite easily have given Lennox Lewis a reasonable run for his money or feature in the current All-Blacks side. The glamour at the time, if I recall correctly, was provided by Miss Pickering, Gill Manders,Wendy Westmorland, Yvette Martin, Pat Forrester, (whose husband Dick was also a teacher there)Mrs Offer and a lady by the name of Miss Beaney who, I think taught drama and who most of us lads had the hots for. The comedy and light entertainment was provided by Mr Pye (naturally), Ken Ure, Mr Coates, Mr McKeag (whose brother was a director of NUFC, thereby automatically condemning the entire family to immediate execution), Tommy Oliver (RAF hero of the second world war and metalwork teacher extrordinaire) and a small, be-spectacled guy (Mr Sugarman??) who I think taught French or RK, and always wore light coloured suits which were a natural target for Noel Cowley's fountain pen ink blots down the back of his jacket. Obviously there were some other characters who could not easily be pigeon-holed like Derek Shute (had gallons of Brut on draught, and I don't mean the champagne, smelled like a hower's handbag), Jack Thompson (bit of a lad, mind you, on the quiet),Eden Buckham, Mr Bell, Mr Atkinson and so on. All happy days and memories, even more so since it is well over 25 years since we all left school and I don't think teachers, characters, like that exist any more. I'd love to hear from anyone else who has any memories from that era, or who remembers either me, or any of the reprobates that we went to school with. Compliments of the season to all back home in Seaham, wherever you live now.

To Brian of Oz;I was at the SMS 1951-55 and don't recall any teacher by the name of Tarzan, nor the incident described.I might have recalled it, because I was a candidate for being thumped on a regular basis by all of the teachers at one time or another, including one spectacular occasion by the Head of St'Josephs's next door.My fame had obviously spread over the wall. Ed, I would tend to ignore the protestations of the Mad one as being just that. If he has a genuine complaint and fails to make use of the means available to him, through you, then he's either too thick or someone who simply likes to moan a lot.Given his semi-literate rantings,I'm inclined to the former.

What wonderful memories the recent comments about Northlea School have rekindled, Miss Robisons smartie parties were as infamous as her stutter and her ability to talk very quietly to you, just before she lost her rag, 2 inches from your ear. Surely the most stunning teacher was Mrs Manders, Seahams answer to Sophia Loren, totally glamorous and never a raised voiced, while she regaled the class with her stories of air travel during the days of luxury in the skies, pre-charter-flights. Miss Wake would always be standing by, ready to whip your recently purchased cold drink from the machine which hardly ever worked, no need for words, just "the look." And as you stood at the drinks machine Marion Kenworthy would pass by, tip tap tip on her heels heading back to the cookery rooms where the smell of freshly burnt rock buns signalled the completion of year 1`s first attempt at cooking. The cookery department wasnt short of glamour either, and Eileen Hall, dripping in jewellery and nail varnish would be in the middle cookery room, whilst Mrs Musgrave ("lets get this roly poly on the table") was located towards the business studies and language labs end. To many pupils, Mrs Westmorelands sister, Nancy Haugstad had a personality that would freeze water, which was unfortunate, for in reality she was "a lady" whose talents were not only obvious in the subject which she taught but also the motivation that she instilled in those who were lucky enough to have her as a form and subject teacher. I always remembered Linda Balmer as a French teacher and the un-forgetable afternoon when she wasted 10 metres of Sticky-backed-plastic, trying to cover a poster of French foods, Mr Taylor also took French, thats if he hadnt fallen asleep in his study. The high spot of the week for many was social studies with Trevor Lowther, where he would sit on his desk and continually thread his wedding ring onto his leather watchstrap. I also remember Mr Colby, he was a very quiet man, and, whilst he wasnt really up to the rigors of comprehensive teaching, I cant see anything to be proud of, in admitting to taking part in the ridicule and assault of someone who was obviously troubled with nerves. Those who boast about such actions should think on, that what goes around, comes around also. The atmosphere of the school changed completely with the arrival of Mr Telford, aloof, remote and unlike Mr Miles, he took no part in teaching throughout the school, as the likes of Theo Ferguson and Miss Wake retired, discipline and respect for the teaching staff began to wane and a very noticeable increase in short term staff was noted. We lost the posh kids from Cleadon and Whitburn and the final insult came with the demise of the sixth-form facility, transferred to the cultural mecca of East Durham, Peterlee, not however, before its rumoured that the whole sixth-form was laid low by a giant chocolate cake laced with laxative icing!! or was that an urban myth? Does anyone else have memories, fond or otherwise of this once great school. P.S. If we had worn our ties in a huge knot as is todays fashion Mrs Tait would have had our guts.

If any council members read this they want to take a look at the old magistrates court, its a disgrace for a building in the centre of town to look so disgusting, rubbish, condoms, papers, bread, all over its a complete mess do something with it or knock it down. I am missing something, everyone who attended seaham talks about miss robinson and her smartie pants - i dont remember this in school, can someone enlighten me!! What subject did Mrs Raply teach? I am trying to picture her. Cheers on a great site Ed.

Message for Mad Max(alias Anon). Seaham Town Council considered the road safety issue at George Street at the recent Planning Committee. The responsibility is with Durham County Council. Barriers will be erected after Christmas. Please note that you ignored my request for information about local incidents and people to talk to. Why not Max? It was a reasonable request and could have saved me time. Time for which I am not paid by the way. Maybe you ought to review your reasons for insisting on your anonymity. If you have something worthwhile to say you don't need it.

I left Seaham Northlea in 1981. There were some good teachers in my time- Mr Goodliffe (Maths) was easily the best. One or two others stick in the memory for other reasons. Mrs Balmer was allegedly an English teacher, Miss Robison for her ledgendary Smartie Parties, Madame Morden the French teacher from Rumania who couldn’t speak English and the impossibly sexy Mrs Westmorland. Like an earlier correspondent I also had my name spelled out on my backside by Mr Redhead’s rounders bat but managed to avoid Mr ’Steve’ McGarratt’s slipper- lovingly named ’Sam’ and Mr Weetman’s terrifying plank.

We have recently traced our family of LYNNs back to Seaham, starting at (what is now) Dawden Hill Farm in 1841, through to the late 1890's. Are there any photos of the farm from 19th or 20th centuries? Back in the 1870's Robert Lynn ran the Foresters Arms, 10 North Railway Street. Anyone remember this pub before it was demolished in 1959 ... any photos of the front? Anyone else have any connection with LYNNs still in the town that may be related - I believe a related John Lynn was listed in Trade Directories as a Cartage Contractor until at least 1938? Other families that intermarried with the Lynns include REED, ALLISON, STONEHOUSE, CURRY, ROBSON, HASWELL, WATSON, BAMB[O]ROUGH and VEALE. Visited Seaham (briefly) for the first time a couple of weeks ago: felt very much at home ... and thanks to the helpful staff in the library and Princess Road Cemetery. Karen, Bristol

So glad someone remembers the names of teachers, guess the girls never saw the bad side of Mr Redhead, we thought he was cute. Miss Wake was amazing it always puzzled us how she knew if the girls werent wearing uniform underwear. She used to stand outside the doors to the hall and pull you out of the line if you werent wearing the correct uniform. Mr Miles (Batman) used to stand on the stage in his huge black cape and lecture us. I remember on of the kids would cough and that would start everyone off, he used to get so mad. In them days we were afraid of some of the teachers, these days they are more like friends I dont think my kids have nearly the same respect we had for our teachers (or was if fear). I remember going on strike at school once the whole school stood outside and Mr Miles had to come out and tell us to get back I think we lasted about 30 mins cant remember what we were on strike for.

I had forgotten about Mr. Pye, we never did much music with him never could understand the poetry he gave us. Mr Johnson was my math teacher and we always got him off the subject of math to anything we could think of. All the girls thought Mr. Redhead the PE teacher was gorgeous. Mr. Johnson always threatened to remove our nail polish with something out of the chemistry lab. Our drama teacher was Miss Beaney very pretty lady. We had a really ditsy english teacher but I cant remember her name. Anyone remember Muriel Pearson, Murial Ayre, Carol Pascoe, Sandra Phillips, Janice Cummings, Joan Elliott, Lorna Metcalf, Paul Rae, just to name a few from my class.

Joan Wilkinson, I don't know that it was ever Seaham Grammar. The school started life in 1964 I think as SGTS Seaham Grammar Technical School. The name changed to SNSS Seaham Northlea Secondary School around 1971. It was still that in 74 when I left. I was thinking about some of the teachers there last week when I was talking to someone about performance related pay for teachers. Here's a list of SGTS/SNSS teachers who would NOT have deserved it. John Pye - Music Teacher, Jehovah Witness and complete nutter. Ken? Shute - Music & Latin Teacher - I never stayed in his classes long enough to learn anything. Alan "Chain" Johnson - Maths - "If there's nine things I can't stand it's Ken Phelan". Sam the Slipper was familiar with my arse on a regular basis. Miss Pickering - Art Teacher - Did she never realise that when we dropped our pencils on the floor they always rolled under her desk somehow? Miss Apps - Geography? French? - Every class a riot. Mr Sugarman - French - I did see him in school once, honest. Mr Redhead - PE - Spelled your name out on your backside with a flipper or a sawn off cricket bat if you'd done something wrong. Why did he make us play football on the field when there was six inches of snow? Also hosed you down with really cold water as you left the swimming pool. Any chance of putting in a claim for child abuse? Mr Race - French - Used to walk up and down the class knuckling people on the head. Miss Robinson "Nana" - Geography - Well actually she wasn't too bad, nice old bird. Anyone remember any more? I was just thinking, how did I get an education with this lot?
I aint telling

I attended Northlea school around 1976, when did the school go from Northlea Grammer to Northlea Comp? Is the SMS school still there and Camden square? Havent been back to Seaham for a while. We had to wear a uniform at Northlea, a lovely grey skirt, white shirt, blue/red/white tie and a navy blazer, grey socks and black shoes, there was one teacher Mrs Wake with her blood red lips never did see her smile!! Did the uniform go away when the school wasnt a grammer school anymore? I dont remember the Headmasters name but we used to call him Batman because he used to wear a black cape I think he was german, I know he had an accent. Also Miss Ferguson she was an English teacher - she was brilliant. Anyone who remembers any more teachers it would be fun to hear about them (now that I have left school!). Joan (Farn) Watkinson.

What is Seaham Town Council coming to? My Mother recently passed away and was buried in the top left side of Princess Road cemetary. My family have since learned that the cemetary rules stink. We have been informed that we are not allowed to have a surround for the grave, although the majority of graves in other areas of the cemetary have them. This is due to the fact that it is easier to ride straight over the top of our loved ones on grass-cutters, and more cost effective, than it is to maintain around the graves. If these rules exist due to lack of council money, less of our Council Tax money should be spent on football pitches, cricket pitches, bowling greens and the likes (which the majority of Council Tax payers are not allowed to use anyway), and more should be used to maintain our cemetary to a higher standard. If any councillor wishes to comment, please feel free, as we would like to hear your views.

I think the bike club is a great idea. The less kids hanging around the streets means the less chance of something happening to them. I remember living in Seaham and we almost had a youth centre until a few individuals messed it up, and it was cancelled. For all those on the page who only want to see things fail, isnt there an alternative guest page for you to chat on, leave this page for the do-gooders we want them. Good luck with the club, I hope you get your donations, if I lived closer I would donate a couple of bikes myself.

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm trying to locate a copy of a documentary made in Seaham in the early 70's. It was called "Life under ground", it was filmed by Granada Television and the director was called Mike Grigsby. If anyone out there has a copy or knows where I can get one please get in touch. If Gillian is reading this in Sussex, I hope the floods didn't effect you to much.I'll be in touch soon.

I am writing on behalf of Treckers Cycle Club (Trained, Right, East, Coast, Kids, Event, Rider, Scheme. ) Mr A Henry Secretary. We are a new Cycle Club, based In Seaham. Our aims are to get kids of the streets, and into a useful positive use of there time. All our kids come from under privaliged family situations. Seaham Police are in favour of this Treckers Club, as it helps give the children something to do, instead of hanging around street corners. We are training the children to do a Bridge-Bridge event from Wearmouth Bridge to Forth Road Bridge in Scotland. They already have done Haswell to Hart fun day. We are looking for anybody that has old Bikes that they dont use anymore, as our club is growing, and we need more bikes. All bikes would be gratefully recieved, and would be well taken care off. If you have any bikes to donate to us, we have transport to collect them. Ours kids would be very gratefull. If there is any Businesses out there, who would like to Sponser there Town and kids, we would be very grateful, as more sponsership is needed as the club grows. Treckers is waiting to here from you. Any kids out there who would like to join Treckers, just pop a e-mail to the address below, and membership is FREE. Please e-mail Sue, on any of the above issue's at SUE123JOE@ICQMAIL.COM Thanking You

I am currently on holiday from Aussie and I am re-visiting the place of my birth - Seaham. I am 48yrs old and attended the "SIS" Seaham Modern School (approx 1963-1968/9). I would love to here from anyone who would remember me and like to get in touch. The old hometown has changed a bit over the years - for the better, although the weather is still atrocious.

absence from home(seaham), i was amazed to find some silly irrelevant and dangerous roundabout at the bottom of station road by the old people's home. More amazed at the 2 width restrictions on station road itself. judging by the scrapes on them some cars obviously weren't lucky in getting through. We had to brake sharpish. It's not exactly Piccadilly and to my mind just increases the danger to pedestrians and other drivers alike. I guess someone's job could be at risk if they don't keep slapping these things everywhere you turn. And what a total waste of money to boot. A decent zebra crossing would have been more effective. max

Max. All three of the councils you have mentioned have a web site which you can write to if you have a complaint. Durham County Council are responsible for highways. If you have specific details of problems which have occurred at that junction I would be happy to take them up for you. But wouldn't it have been useful if you had left me your real email address so that I could have written to you directly.

Forgot to mention I went to see "Billy Elliot" at the cinema last night it was fantastic... Most of the scenes were shot in Easington, there was also a good shot of the Dawdon Viaduct near the Green drive, and a brief shot of the Dawdon Welfare inside and out.. Not sure about the boxing ring scenes , does any one up there know where this was filmed,I suppose it could have been a studio, but I seem to recognise the building. Let me know!!! Any way for those of you out there who want to see Easington in all it's glory, some nostalgic shots of Seaham during the miners strike and a witty story line, then go see the film it's a really great .....

My father left Seaham in the Depression. Because of the family splitting up, the family Bible went astray. I hope it may still be in the Seaham area. I would just like to bring to everyone's attention the plight of Ropery walk nursery school. It is a fine school with much to recommend it, but Seaham dock company in cahoots with the council have chosen to surround it with warehouses!!!Now think of it.....trying to teach very young children in the middle of a work site. The dust, the noise, the lack of light!! Now I know it won't bother the council and the dock company that children will have to be tought in this victorian environment, they think of little else but profit. but please remember come voting time to show these shower of ***** the utter comtempt they so richly deserve. Get rid of these loosers and vote them out.

That's better! The spelling's really coming along. Not sure about this obsessive/ruminative feeling you have for the word 'original' though I can understand your desire to make this the keystone of your life. I'm sure that - given time - you'll get the re. Perhaps Josephine will light a candle for you?

Given the adoption so many aliases (P Catching, C Cole, B Breed etc.)one would think there might be some capability for an original thought among them.Sadly, cretanism is alive and well.Poor fella has never had an original thought in his life, hence hi s contributions here are a sort of defence mechanism for failure.

For James Bruce Reid who, with a handle like that must be a Scot, I have part of the answer he seeks.(1)Australia will, without doubt, become a Republic. The recent referendum failed to gain public approval because, quite simply, they got the method of asking wrong! The result was confusion and people essentially voted to stay as is. They will get it right eventually however, and will become a Republic within 5-10 years, perhaps less.(2) New Zealand will definately become a Republic, perhaps sooner than we think and before Australia. If the will to do it is clear in NZ, then it will be easier to achieve because NZ has one government, Oz has six State governments, a federal government, and one territory. Why will they do it? Because thay are grown ups no w, and not children of Mother England, and in fact haven't been for years. There is also the matter of Perfidious Albion which took everything both countries had to offer in two world wars then dumped them in favour of Europe.

I'm sorry if I have caused offence to some of you. I merely wished to point out that there seem to be many people making comments about the poor and sometimes distasteful entries on the site, and that it would be better to scroll through rather than r ead. There are some stupid people on the net who try to make everyones life a misery. Ignoring such people normally ends up with them getting bored, and eventually they go away to try to annoy some other poor soul. I wouldn't lower myself to mention any n ames and it would pay you all to ignore the very presence of such a low life. This is still a good web site and all you have to do is scroll past the rubbish, you don't have to read it. Alan Dobson.

Hello Antipodeans , Although not very political , I nevertheless have a certain curiosity about motivation etc. and was wondering two things , viz.: - 1)Why Australia managed to convince itself that it was better off with a redundant figurehead who lives thousands of miles away , and is impossible to criticise without the instigator being regarded as "an unfeeling peasant" , as head of state . Al l this , mind you , in tandem with the chastisement of the elite in OZ by Paul Keating for its love of "gongs and Ks" and the reciprocal affection shown to ANTZACs in various theatres of war (in common with the British working man) and the rather sudden w ithdrawal of UK subsidies , when Britain wished to enter into the "common market" , which is strangely parallel with the treatment given to British fishermen when the UK governmewnt generously "donated" a share in their fishing grounds to the citizenry of mainland europe . 2)Whether the Kiwis will be equally puzzling if and when the time comes . Please note that the above questions may be erroneous or biased in content or emphasis and may bear no relation to the true state of affairs under consideration . I may in fact be a raving idiot BUT this does not mean that there is nece ssarily anything wrong with my sense of smell . Yours very Sincerely , One Scotsman they did not Transport (with delight or otherwise)

There can be little doubt that Madheed assumes multi-persona, though probably not from Seaham. If he is it is likely to be one of the stupider areas. He can still be read like a book however, albeit a short one with many blank pages torn out in the toile t.He is impotent of course but fantasises about a non-existant sex-life, in which the accessories include a wet-suit complete with mask and flippers, and a well thumbed copy of Mayfair. His vocabulary includes eighty-seven words for toilet but is otherwis e severely limited and can only be understood by dogs.At the Mill, people buy him drinks in the hope he will pass out. He's probably constipated, but loves visiting the hospital for relief.Sad really!!

Dammit. I'd have thought the guestbook of the best town in the NE would be contributed to by a slightly better group of people than Madheed - obviously a prat who either has a grudge against Seaham or just likes to terrorize guestbooks, in which case h e's a bit of a sadist. I was effectively brought up in Seaham (Moved there at 6, moved away at 11, now 14) and loved every minute of it. And if John Faulkner ever visits this guestbook, Hiya John! ^_^ Anyway, just try to keep up the good work with the site (really sugoi, ne?) and try to keep people like Madheed, the Illiterate Swine as Mr Sellers would have put it, under control, or we'll all end up as basket cases!

We all need a little drivel in our lives, some people just don't know that. They suffer from drivel deprivation which has an effect ( as with Macafferty)similar to verbal diarrhoea, which results in the discharge of large numbers of meaningless phrases purloined from another source.

It may be tedious and it may be repetitious to hear the drivel written in this guestbook by certain contributors who get excitement whenever their childish pseudonyms are referred to but is this not the way of the world. If it were not for the moronic thoughts of neanderthals like these, Hitler would never had come to power, hooligans would not inhabit the football stadiums, and grafitti would not decorate the country. Lets be fair. Who needs Art, Music, Literature when we have the talented individuals that allow us to partake in their deep and meaningful thoughts?
